My Taggarts were from Ontario, Carleton Co. I have been desperately looking for my Great great grandfather Alexander. He was married to Jane Bradley. They had 4 daughters, Annie, Isabella, Rachel, and Elizabeth,known as Eliza. Eliza is my great grandmother. She married Charles Mitchell. Rachel was also married to Charles, died in childbirth, in California. Charles brought his 3 living children back to Ontario, married Eliza, moved to Maine where they raised their children, including my grandfather. Any information you might have would be so welcomed.
