My gg/grandfather, JOHN WILSON TAGGART, was b.1801 in Greenwood, Abbeville Cty, SC, d. After 1870. He married first to ELIZABETH BAKER in SC; he married second to ELIZA ANN ANDERSON, 12/19/1839 in Abbeville County, SC. ELIZA ANN ANDERSON was b. 10/02/1822, making her some 22 years his junior.
Between 1841 - Jan 1843, JOHN WILSON TAGGART moved his family to Richland District, Holmes County, MS. ELIZA ANN ANDERSON TAGGART died 12/31/1861 in Holmes County, MS and is buried there in RICHLAND CEMETERY, along with at least 5 of their 12 children. However, I have been unable to find the final resting place of JOHN WILSON TAGGART. I am unsure if he is buried in MS or if he returned to SC following the death of his second wife. Thanks for any help!
