Looking for info on William Tag/Tagg of Missouri who as a little boy in 1880's came to live with Charles and Julia Carlile in Lafayette County, MO. William grew up with no recollection of his parents, when or where he was born or how the Carlile's came to have him. Was he family to them? William remmembers that the Carlile's said they were from Romney, West Virginia. Mrs. Carlile's maiden name was Slonaker/Sloanacre. William chose Feb 25th as his birthday. That was the day his first grandson was born. William also remmembers moving the Carlile's back to Romney, WVA in 1895, and Mr. Carlile died on the way at age 80. Would appreciate any info, Thanks, Terry
