Would like to find more details on this family.

David R. TAFT b. about 1804-1810 in Vermont
died after 1880, possibly in Clinton county New York

wife: Charlotte (unknown); b. about 1811-1815 in New York
died after 1880, possibly in Clinton county New York

their children:
(1) Emeline C. Taft b. about 1837
(2) Mary S. Taft B. about 1837 d. 9 Feb 1915, Morrisonville, Clinton County, New York
(3) Lucius L. Taft b. about 1842
(4) samuel E. Taft b. Dec 1846
(5) Amanda M. Taft b. about 1848
(6) John B. Taft b. about 1851-1853
(7) Justice Taft b. about 1853
(8) Martin Taft b. about 1861 d. after 1920

Marriages of their children:
(2) Mary S. Taft married about 1865 to William / Julien FOURNIER aka FERNIER; they had 7 children, all born in Clinton county NY
(4) Samuel E. Taft married about 1868 to Hannah (? surname); on the 1900 census show 3 living children; only 1 I have is Merton Taft, who is in Schenectady county, NY in 1910, married to Louise SUDMYER of Germany
(5) Amanda M. Taft married to (?) SALES, who died before 1910
(6) John B. Taft married before 1878 to Nancy (?); daughter Mabel born July 1882 in NY
