Hi Rochelle. I am a Tafoya on my mother's side. her name is Rose (Tafoya) Gutierrez from Corrales, NM. Just a couple of years ago, I started researching my mother's side of the family because we "heard" we had cousins in Farmington. Turns out, we do. My mother's father was Felix Tafoya from Corrales. His father was named Felix (2) Tafoya also and married a Rebecca Montoya. Later or earlier..not sure--Felix (2) married a wife, who had one son..Louis Tafoya. This is the Farmington, NM connection. Louis married Isabel (?) and had six (6) siblings: Rose, Julio, Julia, Louis, Juan and Patrick. You can contact my mother for more information thru me.
