This is the information I have on hand at this time from the Yolo Co., Tadlock's. I don't see that a Anna Collett married Elbert but rather a Miss Anna White, their date of marriage is August 19, 1869 (notes are not real clear but looks like the marriage took place here in Yolo Co., California. I will recheck this information for you).
I do have a copy of the original marriage certificate of Rilford G. Tadlock (Elbert's brother) and a Miss Alice G. Collett. Alice was born on 13 April 1857 in Moniteau Co. Missouri and died 16 Sept. 1944 in Yolo Co., California. She left Missouri 15 Feb. 1870 and arrived in Yolo Co. on 21 Feb. 1870. She ended up at Elbert's ranch on 22 Feb. 1870. Rilford was born on 7 Feb. 1839 in Monroe Co., Kentucky and died 1 June 1927 in Yolo Co., California. They are both buried in the Cottonwood Cemetery here in Yolo Co. Rilford's and Alice's date of marriage is 20 March 1873 and it took place in Cottonwood, Yolo Co., California.
Pages from Rilford's family bible indicate that a William T. Collett died 25 November 1912 and that Elizabeth J. Collett died 6 Sept. 1916. I have left a phone message with a Tadlock niece and nephew to ask them for information on Elizabeth's parents. I hope to hear back from them before the end of the week.
