I found the following information in some paperwork my father collected years ago. I don't know if any of this info. is posted anywhere in this forum already but thought it worth submitting to the group. The above mentioned book was published by the Genealogical Society Printing Co. in 1950. Tadlock page 73 - page 475 1) Pioneer Minister Rev. Benjamin Wallace (? Blount Co) married Mary Anderson. Benjamin died Sept. 6 1856 in Hamilton Co. - had 11 children. Oldest son lived in Hamilton Co. - his name is Jesse Albert Wallace. Jesse married a Mollie Tadlock. Also second women's name listed, Sue Tadlock. Not sure if Sue is daughter of Mollie and Jess or a second wife of Jess. 2) Old Tenn. names among Co. Officers of Green Co. - John Tadlock 1786 - 1787. 3) Petition by the inhabitants of the state of Franklin to the state of North Carolina. Petitioners in this, sought to be released from all obligations to the state of North Carolina less than 2 years after they became residence of the Territory S. of Ohio. Persons named: John Tadlock, Joshua Tadlock, Thomas Tadlock & Lewis Tadlock (no dates given for this). I hope this info. is helpful. Best regards, Kene Notify Administrator about this message?
