I am researching the Tade surname in Va.,Tn. Ky., In., etc. I have a John Tade in Montgomery Co., Ky, mid to late 1800's. His marriage bond shows he was born in Tennessee. There were a number of Tade's living around the Montgomery, Clark Co., Ky. area. Looking for any info on the family and how they migrated from Va. to Ky. I recently found a brief biographical sketch of David Tade, who lived in Indiana, by way of Kentucky. The sketch is from "The Scherrer Family History". It is brief, but gives some good info. There is a reference to another family history,"The Goodner Family", which is supposed to have a more detailed sketch of the Tade/Tate/Tadden surname. If your interested,......
