Tackneys in NYC (Hells Kitchen)

Hi
My grandfather was a Tackney and I've been looking for a long time to get some info on the Tackney name--I have a few things relating to my own family history.
My Great-Great Grandfather was born in Ireland, his name was Charles Tackney and he was married to a Mary Brady. They had two sons, as far as I know. Edward immigrated to NYC in the 1890's--he was 14 and came over on his own. His brother John followed him over to NYC in 1923. Supposedly the familys business was butchering, and when they came to NYC they got jobs in that area.
Edward married Mae Rausch and they had 4 children, one of them was my grandfather. Edward Sr. died in 1940, and his son Edward Jr died in 1991.
