I'm looking for any information about the parents or origin of Sarah Tackett, who married Thomas Mann on 01 May 1779 in Spartanburg District, SC. Her husband fought in several battles in the Revolutionary War from 1780-1783. Their children were Samuel Mann, Thomas Crawford Mann, Lewis Mann, and Rachel Mann. Sarah died 1858 in Pickens District, SC. She was supposedly born in 1752, which would have made her 106 at the time of her death. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I do know she was very old when she died, so it is entirely possible.
