That's very interesting and some good researching. I can see where Stacey could be turned into Tacey. It seems there is more than one origin of the Tacey name then. A lot of the Taceys in North America can be traced back to Urbain Tessier, an early settler of Montreal who came from France. That's where my family came from. Keep up the good work.
