Hi Jim
I am interested in your Tabrams of London. My wife's family came from the Tower Hamlets area (Stepney, Poplar, Limehouse, possibly Whitechapel). The first names of John, Stewart and Thomas occur in the family quite often. The family came to Canada in 1907. The line goes from my wife to Alfred (1900-1970), son of Alfred (1877-1949), son of Stewart (1844-1896?), son of Thomas (1815?-??), son of Stewart (??-??).
Yes, I do know about Martha Tabram, nee White. Sorry, I have not been able to find anything about her grave. From the coronor's report, her husband was Henry Samuel Tabran/Tabram of East Greenwich. She had 2 children, but they are not mentioned in the coronor's report. I wondered what became of them? They were listed with Martha in the 1881 Census. Any ideas on this?
I'm not familiar with Henry Thomas Tabram of Southwark. What's his connection? It's interesting that Martha & Henry lived in Southwark before and after they were married.
