Hi Michael,

My apologies for not taking the time to record the dates as shown in documents supporting the arrival of emigrant
Thomas Tabor to VA. (Bummer!) However, Stephen Tabor certainly appears to be his son. And Henrico Co VA records show that one of Stephen Tabor sons' was William Tabor b 1671 m to Hagar Stoval on Nov 26 1713 Henrico Co VA. (It certainly appears that ALL Stoval or Stovalls related to the Wilburn families, and there are numerous connections descend from emigrant Barthowmew Stoval. There are at least four men of given name to follow.

It would be too labor intensive to prove how all of these kinships exist. But I am 100% sure that it's a safe bet that your Tabor ancestors are descendants of Wm Tabor and Hagar Stoval. With lots of kinships between these families in between. As one professor of History and also a certified genealogist told me, he descends from the same early Colonial VA ancestor five times.

Anyhow, thought that you might enjoy this tidbit.

Cheers

Vikky Wilburn Anders in San Diego
