My Mary Marcella Tabor married John Francis Harvill in Marshall county, MS, on Aug. 23, 1853. She would be a sister to your John Sylvanus, if I could just prove it. I was hoping you could help me do that. No one signed her marriage application, even though she was just seventeen.
Nancy Adelia and her mother, Nancy Orr Gibson Tabor, moved to Ashley County, AR, where my Mary lived before 1870. There Nancy Adelia married first John C. Richardson, nephew of my grandmother, Lille Harvill Kennedy's brother-in-law; then at his death, she married William Beverley Harvill, nephew of John Francis. They kept her in the family! I think this is strong evidence that Mary and Nancy A. were sisters, but I have not found one piece of proof. Thanks for answering. Your John's daughter with the same name seems to add credence to my theory. If you could help me prove this daughter, I'd be eternally grateful. Alice in KY
