I hope my research can help. My great grandmother on my dad's side is Cora Tabor. My family says that HAW was her uncle. I started reading everything about HAW to make the connection. Thus far, I have discovered that HAW's father was Cornelius Durham Tabor, and his mother was Sarah Ferrin. They had four children: John F. Tabor, HAW Tabor (born November 26 or 6, 1830 in Holland VT and died in Denver, Colorado on April 10, 1899), Lemuel Tabor (married Ellen Judd) and Emily Tabor (married EJ Moys). My grandfather, to best of his memory when he was alive, said that the family called Cora Tabor's dad, Les. I assumed that his name would have been Leslie. But just discovered from babydoe.org that Cora's dad's name was more likely Lemuel and they would have called him Lem for short, not Les. I am still trying to verify the legitimacy of this assumption. My grandfather also says that Lemuel/Les had a brother named Horace Tabor (not HAW) who worked with HAW in the mines of Leadville. So, I am showing that John F. Tabor and HAW are brothers which is different than you are showing. The other possibility is that there is another John born of the brothers and sisters of HAW. I show HAW to have married Augusta Pierce in 1857 and had a son, Nathaniel Maxcy Tabor born February 1896. Then HAW married Baby Doe Tabor (Bonduel Mc Cour Doe on March 1883 and had two children: Elizabeth Bonduel Lillie Tabor born on July 13, 1884 and Rosemary Echo "Silver Dollar" Tabor born on December 17, 1889 and died July 18, 1925. These dates might help you determine if John (your relative) was a brother or a nephew to HAW. Whoowh!! That was a lot! I hope I helped.
