You are probably correct that this name is rare and it
probably is of arab extraction as it is spelled Tabar.
Tabor, Taber, Tabour and Tabore are derived from the
French word for drummer. Some people of this family
name may have began spelling it as Tabar. There is no
forum for Tabor and this is why you are seeing people
list there queries here. If you type in "Tabor" as
your search name it leads you to this, the "Tabar Forum."
