I did find a POSSIBLE connection. Some time agao I received a copy of a page out of the ORRELL/ETCHISON family Bible from an ORRELL family researcher, Bob ORRELL. He posts on the ORRELL forum. Actuall, I received TWO documents from him. One was a copy of the marriage record of Susannah TUCKER and Daniel ORRELL.
The Bible page was a record of the birth of TUCKER twins, who were born in 1812. Their names were Aaron and Frances (Fanny). These are the children of Andrew TUCKER and Levicey RUMBLEY. Levicey was related to the ORRELLS and ETCHISONS. I don't remember exactly how at the moment, but I think it was through her maternal side.
On Susannah and Daniel ORRELL'S marriage bond, a William TUCKER signs as security. It is thought that this William was Susannah's brother, but I didn't know that anyone had any information on her parentage. This is very interesting!
I have long thought that Andrew and my Aaron were brothers. All of the information that I have found supports this theory. I don't know what other connection Andrew may have had to the ORRELLS and ETCHISONS, but my Aaron signed as security for a marriage between Elizabeth ETCHISON (spelled variously) and a Tomies (sic) SMITH. So, it is apparent that there was some sort of connection between these families other than the marriage of Susannah and Daniel.
Thanks for posting this information. I will study it some more and see if we can find anything else that just leaps out at us :)
