On the 1910 census for Benton Village, Lafayette Co., WI he is listed as William J. Simmons. Their daughter Beulah is also listed along with a step-son of William J, Francis McCanley(McCauley?). Is it possible that Francis is from a 1st marraige of Ida? His neighbor is Lesley Simmons, who is probably his brother. It also says William J. was born in WI and his father (name unknown) was born in England.
On the 1920 census for Benton Villiage, Lafayette Co., WI he is William J. Symons, wife Ida, children Cletus F., Beulah A, Orthell W, and Delmer L. A William F. Robbins and his wife Anna F. along with their 3 children are neighbors of William J. I believe William F is Ida's brother.
I am seeking info on parents and other siblings of William J. Symons and Ida Robbins!
