Symons as well as being a popular name in Tawstock / Yarnscombe area was also very popular in Barnstaple, even more so. At this stage I am unable to establish a link between my Symons line and those in Barnstaple. In fact I am leaning towards Buckner Brewer ?? as place of origin before Tawstock.
