I am researching the Symons family of Yarnscombe/Tawstock, North Devon, England, which I believe is very close to Barnstaple. I have traced back to late 1700's to brothers Edward (married:Catherine Stone 1781), John (m:Ann Buckingham 1784), William (m:Prudence Geen 1791), Richard (m;Mary Hancock 1792), Abel (m: Margaret Thorn 1798), & Joseph (m:Mary Webber 1798). Do any of these sound familiar? Are you a descendant or know of descendants from these families? I would love to hear from you.
