Elisabeth Symington and Robert Inglis had at least 6 children from 1780-1787. These included James, John, Helen, twins Barbara and Jean, and son Lewars. They may have had a daughter Elisabeth Inglis, as they are the best bets as parents of a woman by that name who married John Wilson at Douglas/Wiston in 1816. Any information that might concern Elisabeth Symington and Robert Inglis (mason) would be most welcome. Sons Lewars appeared in the 1841 and 1851 census at Douglas with wife Flora.
