Thank you for your answer. I hope you don't mind if I make a copy of your answer for my family history album. There was a Williamson Sydnor that lived near my great great great grandfather in Richmond Co. VA in the 1820s/30s. My great great great grandfather named one of his sons by the name of Sydnor in honor of that family.
