The spelling is SWOOPE, not swope. She was born Sarah, know as Sally Anne in the Family bible. Born 14 Oct. 1827. Father- George Washington Swoope Mother Elizabeth Trent Swoope. They lived at Wheatlands in Swoope Va. The home place still exists, in fact Authur Goffery's son and wife own it now. She had 9 brothers and sisters. My GGGFather is her brother. She married Col. George W. Hull 1 Oct. 1849
