Hello Barbara, I don't believe I can be of much help. I've come across only spotty info at best on MD Sagers - none that belong to me yet. I even came across a Abraham Sager m. in Anne Arundel County MD in the 1860's on Familysearch, I think it was. Anne Arundel in just due south of Baltimore and is out of place with the Sagers who's names mysteriously appear in Western MD areas like Frederick, or Washington Counties. However, I'd like to thank you for evidence of a Swope/Sager relationship. It may not be the only one!! So I'll keep my eyes peeled, perhaps on MD a little more. I've seen discussion on Sagers moving thru PA into VA and then OH. One discussion was about 7 related Sagers that went from PA to Ohio, but one of that group Sager went to VA. I don't know which one, nor how Sagers branched into MD. If I find anything interesting, I'll certainly post it !! regards, Walt...
