I descend from Mary (Swope) and John Saylor. Mary, was daughter of Anna Groff/Graff (now mostly known as Grove) and Lawrence Swope I.
Does anyone know more on any of these ?
Anna Groff Swope d 1799.
Lawrence Swope I, b 1742, served in Revolution, d 1794 at Htdn Co. PA.
John Saylor, I was told and read, was killed by first tree he cut on his new land in Htdn Co. PA, around 1800 or shortly
thereafter.
