Frederick Siegenthaler
Posted by: Jacqueline de Escofet (ID *****1135) Date: August 27, 2012 at 02:21:17

Frederick Siegenthaler was my husbands Great Grandfather. Unfortunately he did not know him. He came to England prior to 1890, this being the date that he married. At the time of the 1891 Census he was working as a Chef and his wife as a cook. It is difficult to decipher the place of his birth, it looks like nshun, with dots above the u, or ..hiin. This is probably difficult for me as I do not know very much about village or town names in Switzerland. Any information about Frederick would be very welcome. Thank you. Jacky de Escofet.
