Paul never knew any of his US relatives. I am doing research (genealogoy) to try to learn more about my husband's grandmother, Anna Zuter-Ryser and her husband, whose name we do not know and Paul and Carmen, if there were other children. What Anna's husband did for his occupation, their nationality, if they always lived in Switzerland or emigrated there from Germany or another place, what their lives were like, what they died of and when - things like that. Also, why Verhen used Sutter, and Anna and Paul were Zuter. My husband's name on his birth certificate is Sutter. He has always wanted to know more about his ancestors in Switzerland to fill in the void he has lived through for all of his life. I am doing this research also on both sides of our families, so our children and grand-children will know who their ancestors were. Any information you can give us will be much appreciated. I tried looking up things in re Switzerland to find his family, but cannot speak or write German or French - so it was impossible to obtain records, etc. June
