Hope someone can help us.
Sumiswald, Bern
Jsaak Eggimann (b: 1811),
married abt. 1860 to Anna Barbara Schwitzer (b: 1826)
They came to the US in 1876 and settled in a large Swiss settlement in Washington County, Oregon.
Children:
Maria (2/22/1863
Andrew (1864)
Cattie (1867)
Samuel Walter (8/5/1873)
We are somehow related to this family, This maybe a second marriage for Jsaak, not sure. Our ggrandmother's father was Isaak Eggimann and she (Elisabeth Eggimann Harrisberger, b: 1840's)) came to the US in 1877 and also lived in this same swiss community and buried in the same cemetery with Andrew and other Eggiman families.
