My great grandparents were Sam (1913-1990) and A. Grace Ryser who lived in West Middlesex, PA. They both grew up in Pulaski, PA. Both towns are near the Ohio border
Sam's dad was "Fred Ryser." Fred's father was also Fred.
The elder Fred emigrated from Switzerland and spoke German. His surname appears as "Riser" on the 1880 census. Two of his other children were Louis and Edward. They lived in Camden, NJ. There was a son born in 1880 named Fred, but it is believed that boy died and another child was later named Fred.
I'd appreciate any information any one has on this line, or hearing from anyone who thinks they are related
