I have been trying to locate Rotanzy relatives. My family spelled their name ROTANZY and were located in Chllicothe,Peoria County, Illinois. He married Christena M. Donath 25Feb1868, Children: Lucy C., Mame?, Emily D., Mary Ellen, Rosa Christene, Lula/Lucy?,and William Gautlip. William never married and lived with his grandmother and was listed as a fisherman in 1918.
The 1880 census has William as being born in Switzerland.
