Here are a few references to Griffin that I found when I was working on the Palatine settlement in County Limerick. They might be of some use to you.
Margaret Stark, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Stark was baptized in Rathkeale Church of Ireland 17 Nov 1782. She married Patrick Griffin (a weaver) 1 Jan 1805. Both the bride and groom give an address as Killiheen, parish of Kilscannell, County Limerick.
Mary Griffin married Adam Teskey son of Catherine and Jacob Teskey of Kiliheen, parish of Kilscannell 2 Aug 1828. Their children were baptized in Kilscannell Church:
Eliza baptized 17 Feb 1837
Adam baptized 26 May 1839
Child baptized 10 May 1845
James baptized 10 Feb 1851
Eliza Griffin of Reens, parish of Kilscannell, married William Ruckle (a farmer) Ballylea, parish of Croagh 10 Feb 1833. The parents of the bride gave consent which means she was under 21.
Rachel Fissell of Reens, parish of Kilscannell, County Limerick married John Griffin (a labourer) of Tarbert, County Kerry 21 Mar 1835.
Mary Griffin aged 55 of Killiheen was buried 11 May 1871.

One of the members of the Palatine Yeomanry was James Griffin was a son of Patrick Griffin, weaver of Killeheen and Margaret Stark his wife. James was baptised in the Church of Ireland in Rathkeale 19 July 1807.
