Hi all,
I'm going to try again.
I have a Stephen Switzer married to Evaline Ferryman (or Freeman). His son John Franklin Switzer was the father of my grandfather (Arthur Clarence Switzer).
The last record I have on Evaline was the 1850 census for Decatur County, IA. Verbal family history had her passing away 1849 or 1850. The last record I have for Stephen was the 1895 Iowa State Census for Wayne County, IA. There was a comment of (D) which means he died in 1894.
I can find no tombstone or death records to acquire an actual death date. The census's say both were born in VA about 1815.
I'm trying to find parents/siblings/death information on Stephen and or Evaline.
Any information or suggestions gratefully accepted. I'm willing to share what I have verified (or suspect)
