Thank you Detia for your response to my post. An Ede Swindle is head of household on the 1830 White CO., TN census as I posted before. She has a dau and son the right ages for Rebecca Renfrow and James F. Renfrow. Second name over from Ede is George Conrad Swindle. Mr. Charles Swindle post # 292 on Genform has George Conrad Swindle as son of Christopher C. Swindle b 8 Mar 1770. This is where I have gotten much of my Swindle info.

For Edith to appear on the 1830 census and early ca. 1830 church records in Lincoln CO., TN Edith was married to a Swindle before she migrated to Lincoln CO., TN. I have to keep open that she either married Christopher C. Swindle or another White CO., TN Swindle. So far she does not fit anyone else that I have been able to determine. For Edith to marry Christopher whould not be out of the ordinary. It could have been a marriage of convenience for both of them & or in some way they could have been related.

Please keep me in mind when doing your Swindle research. I would so appriciate it.

Regards, Julia Wright Molitz
