The Genetic Genealogy Project for the surname of Swindle/Swindell (and all spelling variations) is looking for men carrying the surname of Swindle to participate (or women who know of such a man). Our goal is to find out how many completely unrelated Swindle lines there are in the world. In addition, this project will help participants in many ways. First, it can verify the research they have done on their Swindle line. Second, it can help break down a brick wall in their research. Third, it can open new avenues for their research.
The project involves ordering a testing kit containing swabs. Simply swab the inside of the cheek, and mail it in to the testing company. You will find out if you match other project members (meaning you share the same Swindle ancestor), and also you will be able to see which members do not match you (meaning itís a completely unrelated Swindle line from yours).
