Hi all
I've posted something like this before but I'm hoping someone out there can help. I've made enormous progress on my father's paternal side of the family but I've drawn a bit of a blank on his mother's side. She was Helena Marie Schofield born in Hunslet, Leeds, in 1905. Her father was Joseph Arthur Schofield, born in Hunslet in 1870, her mother was Cicely Swift, born West Ardsley in 1872. Cicely's parents were Hugh Swift from Pontefract, b1839 and Anna Maria Travis, also from Pontefract, b1840. Hugh was a confectioner. In the 1881 census the Swift family lived in Queen Street, Morley.
If anyone has any information that they think might tie in with my family I'd be very grateful
