I have a couple of Elias Swifts in my family tree. One born in 1760 and the other (a grandson of first one) born in 1818. Your Elias could have been a son of the second Elias, but I don't have any further information on that line. The Elias born in 1818 was a younger brother of my 4g grandfather, Franklin Jasper Swift. All of this family were born in Tennessee but the family later moved to Missouri. Franklin Jasper Swift and Eliazbeth Lydia Norris were the parents of my 3g grandmother Rebecca Isobelle Swift m. to James Riley Wilson. The Wilson family went to Carroll county, AR and later to Texas and Oklahoma. I don't have a lot of information on the Swift side of this line.
