Thanks for posting the information, but I think we're not talking about the same Reuben Swift.
Reuben was born in NY 1893 to Jesse Swift (1766) and Anna Thomson (1766-1859) and died 4 June 1878 in Eaton County, Michigan.
Reuben married Chloe Brooks, and had six children:
Lemuel Preston Swift (1828-1887)
Dwight Clinton Swift (1830-????)
Susan Swift (1837-1910)
Charles Swift (1838-????)
Theoda Swift (1840-????)
James Henry Swift (1645-1920).
James married Mary Helen Roper (1848, England -1930, Charlotte MI). They had four children:
Clyde Swift (1874-1880)
Frank Swift (1878-????)
Rue Swift (1883-1965, in Eaton Co all his life
Mary Swift (1885-1975)
Rue had 2 wives 1) Julia Hamilton (1885-1906), who bore one child only: my wife Susan's father, Lyle James Swift (1906-1991). Rue's second wife was Hortense Kelly, who bore 9 children, of whom three are still living in Charlotte, MI.
We attend family reunions there from time to time, but no one is able to provide information beyond what I have stated above. We have also checked BMD records, but unfortunately many of these were lost when the courthouse burned some years ago.
Maybe you or someone else may have further knowledge.
