Does anyone have information on Captain John Wesley Swift? Probably of Digby County, Nova Scotia. Birth date unknown but his wife, Roulina Wagoner was born June 6, 1843. Captain Swift's voyages carried him all over the world. Was known to have gone to ports in Australia and Africa, to name a couple. He was out to sea in January of 1865 and never returned home. Presumed lost. Would love to know the name of his ship and where he was "lost at sea." He was my great-great-grandfather.
