Hendrik Hendriksson was born 1813 in Brinslsen, Holjes, Norra Finnskoga. He and his family emigrated to WI in 1853, farming in Coon Valley, Vernon Co. until 1866 when they moved by oxen and wagon to the shores of Kansas Lake, in MN.
Martia Martinsdotter and Hendrik brought 6 children from their homeland, and added four more later, they are as follows:
