Looking for any info on a Sven Asplund, born in 1828 & died around 1920. His wife's name was Ingeborg. Sven's father name was Jonas(dates unknown). Sven & Ingeborg had 2 children that I know of; Olaf, born in 1867 at Varmland & Frederick born unknown, at Varmland. Olaf & Frederick came to the U.S. date unknown. Family letter just states, they came to U.S. when they were young & they were the only two that did. Same letter says family owned land and lived at one end of Lake Lakene. And that there are a few remaining Asplund's still living there today.
Any info on the family or the region around Lake Lakene would be appreciated. Thanks!
