The mother parish was Markaryd, Hinneryd was an annex parish, so it would be very odd if Markaryd records were kept in Hinneryd while the other way round would be perfectly normal.

Large parts of the Markaryd church records were destroyed by fires in 1851 and 1877. Among the records destroyed were all birth records 1717-1860, also household examination rolls 1838-1870 and marriage and death records too, of course.
