Actually, 6 May 1892 would have been the date she registered to leave her parish. It wouldn't have been the date of leaving Sweden. She would have needed time to travel to the port. Many who lived in southern Sweden (as she did) would have used a port in Denmark or Germany.

Emibas CD:

Post 442786

Svensdotter, Charlotta
Unmarried woman

b. 2/10/1870 in Örkelljunga, Kristianstads län (Skåne)

Emigrated 5/6/1892
from Boalt, Örkelljunga, Kristianstads län (Skåne)
to Amerika

Source: Household Examination Roll, p. 47

Emibas migration file ID: Örkelljunga L 1892 010

I don't see her on the Emihamn database so she apparently did not leave through a Swedish port.

Judy
