Martin , awesome thank you. It confirmed my dad's old info and raised some more questions. Yes,Ida may be Ingrid?? But way johansson vs johansdotter. Was that common back then? Also Utflyttning and actual emigation dates are 2-3-4 days apart, in most cases, I've noticed. What happened in those days, the people didnt belong anywhere?
Re:Karolina, dad had (unconfirmed) info on all of them but where he got it from i have no idea. I would guess he was right about her too but I like to confirm it. Likewise, I have not been able to track her in Minnesota either.??
I'm going back to sweden again this summer..any suggestions where i should go and do some research? regards/tj
