Carl Nord 9/09/11
Swedish uses thre "extra" letters; åÅ äÄ öÖ
Those cute little rings and dots aren't there to make the words look pretty and confuse foreigners - these are actual letters changing the meaning of words and CANNOT be replaced by "a" for "å"/"ä" and "o" for "ö":
kar - tub
kår - corps
kär - dear
kor - cows
kör - choir
I have no idea what record you refer to when you ask for "column 10". Record books differed from parish to parish and from time to time; what is "column 10" in one book may be column 2 or 14 in another - if it exists at all.
However, I should think that what you read as "Fodder ar dag ach manad" might be "Född år, dag och månad". If you had used the "Swedish" letters (quite a few languages use them actually), I'm sure Google would have made the translation: "Born year, day and month". And that is precisely what is there: born year 71 day 7 month 1 or 07 Jan 1871. Please note that the US is one of only four countries in the world where a date is generally written MM/DD YYYY (to avoid confusion, please use the "07 Jan 1871" format).
The interesting thing about the Carl Edvin Södergren birth record is however the pencilled note with his father's name since that explains why he is born Nord and later changes to Södergren.
Birth records 1879-1894, Västra Vingåker parish in Södermanland county:
Karl Georg, born 06 October 1892. No father indicated. Mother Elin Mathilda Nord, female farmhand residing at Wännevad [farm/village], page 201 in volume 1 of the current Household examination rolls ("husförhörslängd").
Karl Georg was baptised 09 October 1892. Baptismal witnesses: Crofter A.P. Andersson and his wife from Floda parish (Södermanland county).
Census 1900:
Alone: Nord, Carl Georg b. 1892 in Västra Vingåker parish, Södermanland county - recorded among "remaining non-existents".
"Remaining non-existents" meant that the parish knew that they had moved out of the parish, but they had not registered as leaving and no other parish had claimed them. Karl Georg's quite literally "lost" in 1900. Probably Karl Georg is lodged somewhere, at a guess with his god-parents in the neighbouring parish of Floda - but nobody had bothered the parish office with this information (it happened quite often).
There's no such place as "Vinnaker". Also, there's no parish "Vingåker" after 1642, when the parish was split in two, west (Västra Vingåker) and east (Östra Vingåker) - though these names weren't made official until 1757.
I do hope you're not using Ancestry's transcribed and digitized records.

Carl Georg went from Göteborg to Hull or Grimsby on the English east coast and took a train to Liverpool (or possibly Southampton) where he boarded the steamer for Boston.
If you contact the Archives in Göteborg, email [email protected] , and quote the source code, they'll be able to provide ou with the name of the ship that took Carl Georg from Göteborg to England, and which shipping line (but not the actual ship's name) he used for the transatlantic crossing.
