There's a 70 year Privacy Act that prevents publishing of many facts (for both living and dead). There are however ways of going around it, but none available on the Internet except for name, address and birthdate.
Generally, the best way of finding present-day descendants is to request the "bouppteckning" (estate inventory) which is done after somebody dies. The first page(s) will always detail who the heirs are and what relation they are to the deceased (and in Sweden it's not possible to disinherit your children so they're all listed).
A "bouppteckning" done before 01 Jul 1991 can be requested from the State Archive, a later one from the Tax Authority.
There are also CDs with the censuses 1970, 1980, 1990, which many of us here have access to and can do look-ups in. Also the Death Index 1901-2009.
