Yes I think this is the family. You might look for some obits from the kids and see if they say in Sweden where they were born. Also check church records. I don't know where this family settled but many of them joined Lutheran Churches and many of the churches kept good records. My grndparents birth place was listed on the Lutheran Church records in my home town. Spellings were off but it often gives you an idea where to look. Naturalization papers were not usually detailed at this time. They arrived in 1853 did any of the family fight in the civil war?? Check Pentio Records.
