Perhaps? Ester Hedelina certainly wasn't born in "Gotenborg" (Göteborg is the Swedish spelling and it is in the west of Sweden.) but she was born in the town parish (stadsförsamling) of Helsingborg in the south of Sweden. She also was born on the date you listed and the mother's last name might have sounded like Andrew to your relatives. (Andrew is not a Swedish name. Nels is an Americanization of Nils.)
