Cannot find birth record/info for German grt grandfather Carl Theodore ALBRECHT, born abt 29 July 1849. His parents were German (names yet unknown) but there is reference made to the possibility that Carl may have actually been born in Sweden. Later, prior to emigrating from Germany (via Hamburg) in Nov 1881 Carl, his wife Marie (WAGNER) and their 4 children were "from" area of Griebenow, near Grimmen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Any help or suggestions to find his birth record would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU.
