Hi Larry, This answer is a long time in coming. Joseph Sweazy B. 27 Dec. 1781 had son Vallorous B. 1809. His 14th child John V. Sweazy B. Apr. 1865. His son Jefferson Sweazy B. 13 Dec. 1889 went to Clinton, Ill. His son Charles Frederick your father B. 10 Aug. 1917. This is how it comes down to you. I have a lot of information on the family gathered several years ago. I am trying to gradually get it in the computer. would appreciate any information you have on Jefferson's family. I have three children, but that might not be all and then on down hardly anything. My gr. grandfather was a Sweazy and married a Sweazy, so I have a double connection though Joseph and William. Vallorous brother Jesse I. had dau, Margaret Lavina married James Madison Sweazy s/o Levi Sweazy and Mary E. Hughes. James Madison had son Levi, had son Raymond and I am his daughter Eula Ray(Sweazy) Kirkland
