Rachel Swayze b. ~1765 Sussex Co, NJ

I'm trying to figure out how Rachel (married John Bowlby b. ~1766 Sussex County, NJ) fits in with the family.

I've noted that her father is Daniel Swayze, but it can not be the Daniel I've got, as he was born in 1756.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
